Chasing simplicity is always a better approach.

It declutters our mind and generally frees up more time.

Just think about how much more mentally relaxed you are when you have have less to worry about and less to do.

We are all guilty of creating a lot of stress in our lives, because we either acquired too many things or we are think we should be living at a certain standard etc. And this, then, in turn causes us a lot of unnecessary stress!

The same principles are very applicable to hair loss and balding.

We think we should look a certain way because this is what society has always told us and if we don’t look this way (a full head of hair) then emotional turmoil sets in.

And we try all things to rectify this.

Unfortunately for most men, hair loss and balding is real.

And they struggle to get to terms with it as soon as it happens, and hence spends years trying to rectify the balding process. The hard truth is it ain’t gonna happen!

Keeping things simple will lead you to making better decisions surrounding your balding head.

That’s why one of my best pieces of advice for balding men is to just try and simplify as much as possible.

You could actually use hair loss and baldness and the way you deal with it as a direct parallel to other things in life.

The Simple Advice For Balding Men

It’s your choice.

Take it or leave it.

This is advice from one baldie who suffered for 8 years with the emotions of balding to another baldie who is currently at crossroads in his or her hair loss journey.

My advice is to keep the process as simple as possible.

Below are 3 easy ways that you can keep your hair loss situation as simple as possible, and not let it affect your daily life.

#1. Don’t Overthink The Balding Process

The first step.

The most important part in simplifying the hair loss process is all in the mind.

Don’t overthink hair loss and keep asking yourself why you are going bald.

Just try and accept it as quickly as possible.

Stop wondering what other people might be thinking of your balding head.

Stop wondering what you will look like with a shaved head.

Take note of how much emotional energy and time you are wasting.

If you just took a minute to realize how your thoughts are affecting you negatively, then wouldn’t you want to stop this from happening?

The answer is surely a big yes!

#2. Shave It Off Already

This second piece of advice in the simplification process is to shave your head.

At the end of 2018 I decided to take the plunge and shave my head completely.

Before that, I had been balding for almost 8 years and tried various ways and techniques to cover up my bald patches and every receding hair line.

And honestly, shaving off my head was the BEST thing I ever did. My only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner!

Most guys who have taken the step of razoring their heads completely all say the same thing.

I recently saw an interview with Joe Rogan on his podcast where he also states this.

He says he wishes he had shaved his head at the first signs of baldness.

It would have saved him lots of time and money spent on products that claim to stop balding or help with hair regrowth.

#3. Start Working Out Like A Beast

Once you take the plunge and shave your head, you have an ideal opportunity to almost reinvent yourself and create your new look from the ground up.

If you look at pretty much any guy who has shaved his head completely and still looks really good, then you’ll usually see a few common traits amongst them all.

They usually have allowed a bit of sunlight to add some color to their head, they dress the part, maybe they even have some stubble or a fully grown beard.

But the thing which I think plays the biggest part in all bald men looking good is the fact that they work out often and are all in good shape!

Just think about it for a second.

When you see a guy with a shaved head who is in really good shape, do you ever think to yourself, “look at his bald head?”.

Definitely not.

You most likely associate the guy with looking good and being a good looking badass military man.

But it’s all positive.

That’s why it is so important for us all to shift a major focus towards being fit and in shape when deciding to shave our heads completely bald.

When you shift your focus to something more positive like exercise and working out then you will reap more positive benefits in life.

These are facts.

Being in shape and being bald go together really well and it’s also just generally more healthier for us.

We have used embracing baldness as our number one reason and motivating factor to take health and fitness a bit more seriously. Not only will you look good, but you will also feel incredible!

Final Words

I can name you a few awesome bald men that struggled with the balding process and eventually came to grips with hair loss, and used this pivotal moment in their life to make a change and re identify themselves.

Think David Goggins. Dwayne Johnson. Jason Statham. Joe Rogan.

The list goes on and on.

These guys took ownership of their hair loss situation and became better because of it!

These guys all used hair loss to their advantage.

They all went through the same emotional turmoil as you are either going through right or have experienced.

The good news is that you can do the same thing but moving out of your comfort zone by taking the plunge.

The advice is simple. Don’t over complicate things, shave your damn head and get in good shape by starting to work out.

Your life will change and it will all be positive!

Stay healthy.

Cheers,
Will
